21 things I’ve learned at 21

So, I turned 21 a couple of months ago meaning I’m now officially an adult so I need to sort my life out and that I can legally drink in America which came in handy when I went to NYC a few weeks ago 😝 Let’s be honest here though, I love having a drink. There’s nothing quite like being wine drunk on a Monday night with your best pals πŸ’ž I’ve been thinking about something to post for a few days, especially as I’ve had a huge loss of motivation because I’ve been really unwell, stressed with uni and just generally stuck in a bit of a rut, so I thought, why not write about some things that I’ve learned as I’ve moved from teen to adult? Keep reading πŸ‘‰πŸ½ 1. Sometimes you just have to cut people out of your life in order to progress 2. Getting a tattoo didn’t hurt half as much as I thought it would 3. I’m being featured in VOGUE?!🌟

Hi Guys! I just wanted to make a quick blog post because recently I found out that I’m being featured in… VOGUE!  No words can quite describe the surreal feeling I experienced when I looked down at my phone and saw the message stating, ‘we’ve selected your photo for VOGUE.’ If anything, I think it could potentially be likened to that feeling when you’ve drank so much coffee you’re on the verge of passing out. Fyi, I didn’t actually pass out but I’m pretty sure I very nearly went into cardiac arrest.  I’m a regular blogger for the wonderful company BESSIE (who make the most stunning bags) and they’ve selected a photo I took for them to use in British Vogue January 2018. Guys, my KNEE is gonna be in British VOGUE. I’ve peaked.  Best. Christmas. Present. Ever. In all seriousness, I’m so grateful for this opportunity, never in a million years did I think something of mine would be featured in my favourite magazine. πŸ’› If you like the bag, check it out over on https://www.bessielondon.com/  ✨✨✨ That’s all …

November Outfit Favourites

Hello again! How are you? I’m currently sat in my bed (surrounded by a huge pile of mess because I’m the laziest person in the world) and I’m writing a blog post because I just want to avoid tidying it up for as long as possible. We’ve all been there…right? So, I thought I’d make a post allll about my November Favourites and what I’m loving! This time of year is the absolute best because it means you can start wearing cute coats, fluffy scarves and listening to Christmas music without being judged (I started listening to Christmas music in October like a regular, functioning human) and I just adore how cosy this time of year is. The first thing that I’m obsessing over is my *stunning* Rosefield Watch. I was lucky enough to be sent it as part of a collaboration I did with them over on my instagram and it’s safe to say that it has not left my wrist since the day it was delivered.    I just find that watches are the perfect …

Autumn Bedroom Ideas πŸ‚

Hello lovelies! How are you? I have a reading week in uni which basically means I’m about to spend the week watching stranger things and sleeping. Juuust kidding, I’m going to spend the week watching stranger things, sleeping and doing important uni work…probably. Yesterday, I decided to make a blog post all about how to make your room look cute on a budget! Now that it’s November it’s basically Christmas and there’s nothing nicer than coming home to a cosy room where you can snuggle up with a hot chocolate and watch *iconic* Christmas films like The Grinch. So, after thinking long and hard about how to transform my bedroom without spending too much money it finally hit me: PRIMARK. They do the most amazing homeware for the cheapest prices so I couldn’t help picking up some pillows and a fluffy throw whilst I was out shopping with one of my best friends the other day: I honestly can’t get over how SOFT they are. I love all things cosy and I’m obsessed with throws …

Autumn Playlist

AUTUMN. IS. HERE. Sorry, I felt the need to capitalise that statement because I’m *so* very excited about my favourite time of the year being in full swing. Sure, Halloween is over but that doesn’t mean the spooky celebrations have to stop. In fact, I’m about to go watch Hocus Pocus so spooky it up, folks! On the other hand, Christmas is next month so maybe get cosy and watch an iconic Christmas film like The Elf? I dont know, you do you.  Anyway, whilst we’re on the topic of Halloween I may aswell share a pic of my Halloween outfit (any excuse, right?) I spent a good deal of time planning my costume not to mention the dangers I experienced whilst getting ready! I literally got glitter in my eyes. Yep. I went as a devil, duh. OK I’m done! Let’s back to the actual topic of this blog: providing you with a fiyah Autumn playlist πŸ”₯ 1. DVSN – Don’t Choose 2. Mabel – Ivy 3. Krept & Konan – For Me 4. Tom Odell – …

My Final Year of Uni

Guys, I am SCARED to graduate and enter adult life. It seems like only yesterday I was sleeping in, watching too much tv and doing absolutely nothing with my life. Wait, that WAS yesterday. But still, you know what I mean. Life is about to hit me hard and honestly, I’m not ready for it. What I’m going to do with my life is a question that crosses my mind a million times a day yet I still manage to find new ways to avoid dealing with it (like spending 3 hours researching which new face mask to buy) … a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ My life might be a shambles, but I WILL have clear skin! Moving on, I have some big choices to make about my future which realistically should already be made but they’re not, and I’m ok with it. I don’t want to rush into something that I regret and I also want to spend a little time enjoying my life education free. In the words …

October Favourite: Rescue Remedy

Hello lovelies! How are you? I’ve recently arrived home from a week in Spain and besides from getting busy tanning and swimming with tropical fish, I did struggle with a little bit of anxiety in the airport.  I love going on holiday, but I’m not a huge fan of airports (apart from duty free shopping, obviously) so when Rescue Remedy offered to send me out a few products to try, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them!  Rescue Remedy specialise in creating products to aid in soothing anxiety and I found their products to be extremely effective and they’re something I’ll be using regularly from now on!  Keep reading to see what I got sent πŸ‘‡πŸΌ 1. Soothing Pastilles  These work. I took one as I left to go to the airport because I was feeling anxious and after about 10 minutes I felt a lot more at ease and relaxed. If you suffer with anxiety I can’t recommend these enough! Though they are not a cure, they really do help ease symptoms of …

I love BESSIE and you should too

Hello all! Welcome back to my little corner of the world.   I recently became a blogger for BESSIE (an amazing company that make bags) and to put it bluntly, I am obsessed! Their beautiful creations are heart eye emoji, affordable and completely unique.   The flowers, the colours, the people What draws me most to BESSIE is the clear love and dedication that has gone into making this beautiful brand a reality. The sheer passion behind BESSIE is the ultimate driving force propelling this brand forward, and you can’t help but appreciate it for what it is – sophisticated, stylish and smart.  They recently hooked me up with a stunning new bag and I think I might be in love. Actually, scrap that, I AM in love.  As soon as I got home from work I rushed to the huge cardboard box in my passage and was not disappointed. I opened it up to discover the most GORGEOUS bag I have ever seen in my life. Seriously, it’s perfect. Wanna see pics? Of course you do. Keep …

New Look Shopping HaulΒ

Hello lovelies!  Autumn is coming but my summer isn’t over just yet because I’m going to Spain at the end of the month! I NEED new clothes (and a tan) πŸ’ƒπŸ» I bought a few things from my faves New Look recently.  They have an amazing deal on right now (buy one item get one free) and my bank account is hurting because of it. Oops.  Keep reading to see a few styles I’m loving right now and what I bought!  I’m so in love with this dress! I got it for the bargain price of Β£10 and honestly, I’m obsessed.  I’m planning on wearing this during the evenings in Spain as I feel it’s a little more formal and sophisticated. Plus, there’s no point in making much of an effort with my appearance during the day as I have more important things to do, like sunbathe. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ I think that a pair of heeled sandals are the perfect option for this outfit as it’s a midi dress and the extra height balances out the proportions.  …
